Interaction is becoming an extremely important aspect of the Information Age. Customers now regularly wish to “sign up” or “register” with a website they use often or, more commonly, are purchasing via.
Our customer account facilities provide this very service. The core is a customer database which hold records for each of the sites customers. This includes personal details, address details, delivery details and order histories. All of this information can be imported/exported to standard CSV format for online processing.
Additionally, a number of account facilities can be attached to the website. A Login box will allow the customer to enter their username and password to “login” to the site. From then on the website will recognise who they are and change prices/content accordingly.
A customer account page, will enable a customer to change their own personal details such as passwords and addresses. It may also, where applicable, show them their order history and current order statuses.
Our support staff constantly maintain the customers database aiming to provide data integrity at all times. |
